Photos of the rooftops of Paris, rooftop views of Paris, and videos of stunt performers on rooftops are multiplying on social media platforms such as Instagram or TikTok. Many of you may wonder how to get there and where to climb on the rooftops of Paris.
Unfortunately, this activity is prohibited, primarily for safety reasons. Without proper training as a roofer, antenna specialist, or chimney sweep, it is challenging to know where one can walk and, more importantly, where one cannot. However, if you are still motivated to explore the rooftops of Paris, the city is full of viewpoints where you can admire our magnificent zinc roofs. There are also rooftops open to the public, where you can safely enjoy the beauty of Parisian rooftops.
